A Guide to the Best Date Night Spots in Atlanta
Atlanta is a city that is full of incredible restaurants, making it perfect for a romantic night out. Whether you’re looking for sushi, seafood, or a cozy atmosphere, Atlanta has something for every taste and preference. Today, I’ll highlight some of the best date night restaurants in Atlanta (speaking from experience obviously), including Umi, Del Bar, Yebo Beach Haus, Dirty Rascal, and Rumi Kitchen.
Umi – For a high-end sushi experience, Umi is the perfect spot. Located in the Buckhead neighborhood, Umi has a cozy dining room and sushi bar that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu features a selection of sushi and sashimi, as well as cooked dishes like miso black cod and wagyu beef. The chic setting and cuisine make Umi an ideal location for a romantic night out.
Del Bar – This hidden gem is located in the heart of Buckhead and offers an elegant and romantic ambiance. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, including fresh oysters and lobster risotto, as well as steak and pasta options. The restaurant also has an extensive wine list, making it a perfect spot for a special occasion. The decor here is also STUNNING, I am always a sucker for amazing ambiance!
Yebo Beach Haus – For a unique and casual date night option, Yebo Beach Haus is the perfect spot. Located in Buckhead, the restaurant has a beachy vibe and serves South African-inspired cuisine. The menu features dishes like boerewors (South African sausage) and peri-peri chicken. The restaurant also has a patio bar that is perfect for spring/summer nights.
Dirty Rascal – Located in the lobby of the Thompson Hotel, Dirty Rascal is a cozy and intimate spot that specializes in cocktails and Italian food. The menu features pastas and creative cocktails like the “Beetlejuice” (gin, beet juice, and lemon). The dimly lit atmosphere and creative drinks make Dirty Rascal a great option for a unique and fun date night. Tbh this place is one of my favs and the lobby of the Thompson Hotel usually has a DJ in the bar area on the weekends, which makes for a nice night cap after dinner.
Rumi Kitchen – For a romantic evening of Persian cuisine, Rumi Kitchen is the perfect spot. Located in Colony Square, the restaurant has a sophisticated atmosphere and an extensive menu that features dishes like lamb shank and saffron chicken. The restaurant is also located in the perfect area to walk to near by speakeasy’s, bars and other entertainment.
